‘After twenty five years of very successful senior management in hospitality, a change of heart, and industry, pushed Peter into the legal planisphere. After completing university courses in both conveyancing and migration, Peter was armed to encounter a new range of clients, and colleagues.
Even though, the two industries were juxtaposed, key elements of successful business never change. Now twenty years into a legal career, it was time to put pen to paper, and relate ideals that have prompted continued success.
It seems that a customer will always be a customer, a staff member always a staff member, and an interest in people, always a priority. Being conversant with all types of clients, enabled Peter to bridge a gorge of diverse characters. In his time, Peter has encountered different people with distinct backgrounds, very dissimilar needs, and certainly, very profound outcomes.
Education has always been either a hobby, or an occupational pursuit. In years gone by, Peter has:
– Taught at TAFE (approximately 13 years);
– Conducted a personal business consultancy firm;
– Spoken at Migration Agents’ Seminars;
– Written a manuscript on managing hospitality businesses.
Therefore, this foray into authoring a book on business, is not a sudden convulsion into the tutorial realm. The current book, ‘Our Father Who Art In Business’, was first mentioned in the hospitality manuscript some twenty years ago. It was always a goal to complete a full book on the innovative concept, it was just waiting for the right time to undertake the mammoth task.’
